We are not what happens to us. We are how we react to what happens to us.
We should not be affected by what is happening. Things that happen are just that. Things or events.
When you are calm, you are able to see things for what they are, and not what you imagine they are.
I know, it’s easier said than done. And when you are in the middle of a problem the last thing you want to hear is – “stay calm”. But what if we learn and teach to tell our mind to do just that? – “Stay Calm”. I bet it won’t happen in the first or probably not even in the 10th time. But if worrying helped to solve the problem then most of the problems would be solved by that.
You have to retrain yourself. And today is a good day to do so.
